DC Maintenance Mechanic

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to operate all powered equipment within the warehouse
• Working knowledge of hand and powered tools
• Display good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• General maintenance duties including maintaining the cleanliness of all powered equipment
• General warehouse maintenance duties to maintain a safe and professional work environment both in and outside
• Proficient in all maintenance required programs including recycling of plastics and cardboard, lock out/tag out procedures and hazardous materials
• General warehouse activities which require certification of power equipment
• Maintain established safety and maintenance guidelines by performing general warehouse maintenance duties including: sweeping, dusting, cleaning, and removal of debris from the outside perimeter of the facility
• Maintains all Distribution Center policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous power equipment experience preferred
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
