Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management or Logistics, Transportation and Distribution are a plus
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management software (WMS) and experience with inventory management or ERP software.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in a warehouse environment
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, document management systems, electronic batch records preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily activities related to receipt, inspection, storage, and inventory control of materials, ensuring compliance with GMP/GTP/GDP standards for handling, labeling, and documentation.
- Manage incoming shipments, material put-away, and order picking to support manufacturing needs.
- Oversee the organization and management of warehouse materials, maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and proper documentation using ERP systems.
- Collaborate with procurement to implement inventory strategies that ensure business continuity and optimize on-hand stock levels.
- Supervise the kitting process for consumables and reagents, ensuring timely delivery to manufacturing.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, while ensuring compliance with safety and GMP quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management or Logistics, Transportation and Distribution are a plus
