Requirements
- Valid and unrestricted Arizona Class D Driver License
- Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
- 6 months post high school education
- Four (4) years of directly related experience
Responsibilities
- Repairs equipment and makes service calls by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and replacing defective parts and components
- Performs preventative maintenance by replacing fluids and filters in equipment, measuring, adjusting, and recording test results
- Rebuilds and installs diesel, gasoline, and natural gas engines by disassembling, inspecting, measuring and evaluating internal and external engine parts
- Interprets and applies information from technical manuals, web sites, schematics, wiring diagrams, system flows to diagnose and resolve issues
- Contains and safely disposes of hazardous wastes
- Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Four (4) years of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding heavy and specialized trucks, construction, and street maintenance equipment
- Experience in repairs of airbrake systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, powertrain systems, and suspension systems
