Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in lower-level languages like C and C++
- In-depth knowledge of Windows internals, kernel-mode programming, and network protocols
- Proficient in low-level Windows driver development, particularly network drivers
- Strong debugging skills for network-related problems
- Comprehensive understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols and services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS
- Skilled at writing high-quality, well-documented code with low complexity and excellent programming practices
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Responsibilities
- Developing Windows Device Drivers primarily Network Filter drivers and Windows Filtering Platform drivers to intercept network traffic
- Improving the code quality and to build solid, testable, and well-documented features
- Making significant contributions to the design and implementation of major development projects
- Working closely with product managers and other teams to implement customer-impacting features
- Collaborating with internal Zscaler teams as the domain expert for Client platform and help resolve customer deployment issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional experience in macOS, Android, iOS or Linux
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)
