Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience preferred in requirements analysis, data solutions, or related technical product roles.
  • Superior research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, business intelligence tools, and how they inform AI and reporting solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, including use cases for generative AI, predictive modeling, and natural language interfaces in enterprise environments.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex AI opportunities to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced level knowledge of requirements best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge level of business-related software applications and services.
  • Excellent ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent telephone/email etiquette and an ability to communicate effectively with Member/Customers.
  • Working level knowledge of project management processes and theories.
  • Working level knowledge of end-to-end software development lifecycles, including AI-enhanced or data-driven product delivery.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel as often as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the position.
  • Excellent ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, research, and validate complex level product and/or project requirements with an emphasis on data architecture, reporting, and AI-enhanced capabilities.
  • Manage ownership of project use cases and requirements, particularly where AI technologies or enterprise analytics are involved.
  • Lead stakeholder interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, and scenarios to uncover unmet needs and opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
  • Provide direction and leadership on requirements to internal stakeholders, ensuring the inclusion of scalable and realistic AI enhancements where applicable.
  • Coordinate and manage work with SMEs across data engineering, AI, and traditional development life cycles.
  • Lead or participate in change review boards regarding proposed enhancements, especially those involving automation, data intelligence, or AI adoption.
  • Participate in the ongoing support and improvement of NISC’s software development lifecycle with attention to evolving technologies.
  • Champion requirements best practices and processes across the company while fostering innovation in AI and analytics.
  • Develop and deliver training to co-workers as assigned. Serve as mentor to team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
