Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of fundamental presentation design principles, methods, and practices
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental presentation techniques, including design and layout
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of communication concepts, methods and techniques
  • Skill in producing creative work both within an established organizational style and custom client styles, with attention to detail
  • Skill in Excel charting
  • Skill in designing and producing presentation graphics materials using computer-based methods
  • Skill in operating standard office equipment and using required software applications
  • Ability to apply creativity and imagination to graphics projects appropriately
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative environment
  • Ability to understand a project request and extrapolate key information from it under the guidance of a manager
  • Ability to understand and follow through on client objectives and requirements to provide a high level of customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels

Responsibilities

  • Makes contributions to the themes, ideas and methods used in creating and producing PowerPoint Presentations, related assets, and pitch materials
  • Under limited supervision, delivers design solutions that show initiative yet reflect provided direction
  • Under limited supervision, consults with internal customers regarding design and associated costs
  • Designs/prepares graphics used in PowerPoint Presentations and pitch materials
  • With limited direction, researches and selects graphic design ideas
  • Ability to perform quality control review for own work and for work produced by teammates
  • Ensures file management system is maintained
  • Remains current in presentation design trends and technologies
  • Ability to quickly determine priorities in a self-directed work environment so that both creative and operational responsibilities are met
  • Manages deadlines through communication with senior team members and internal clients
  • Works under guidance of more senior presentation designers to master skills and experience necessary to become self-sufficient member of the Presentation Design Team
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Graphic Design or related discipline and a minimum one (1) year relevant experience in the design field
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources
