Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience leading and growing Federal IT programs, with 5 years of experience leading and growing IT practice/business areas
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully manage P&L
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business organically and successfully pursue new business
  • Experience managing organizations of 30+ FTEs

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of delivery for systems engineering, IT systems development and integration, data management and analytics, strategy and management consulting, and cybersecurity programs and projects across client programs
  • Manage P&L to deliver projects profitably
  • Develop strategic plans, identify target accounts and opportunities, identify required and new capabilities, and foster partnerships and teaming to support successful business development efforts
  • Lead revenue growth initiatives that include organic growth opportunities and new business development pursuits
  • Work collaboratively with business development to identify, pursue, and win new business; and develop capture plans, win strategies, and teaming approaches
  • Manage program staff that includes employees, independent contractors, and subcontractors
  • Build strong relationships across internal and external contacts including existing and potential new customers; existing and new teaming partners; internal stakeholders including SMEs, PMs, and Proposal Team members; and other business operations and BD resources

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of DoD market, including Air Force, Army, DHS, others; understanding of customers, business drivers, and buying practices preferred
  • Experience and capability to develop leadership skills in key staff and enable their professional growth preferred
  • Knowledge of processes in a Federal contracting including budget and pricing, and program and project delivery preferred
  • Experience with procurement and contract negotiations, contract vehicles, NDAs, and teaming agreements preferred
  • Strong understanding and ability to lead project life cycles including start up, solution design, development, implementation, and O&M, and evaluation preferred
  • Strong presentation and delivery skills with internal leadership and external customers and partners preferred
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to devise and implement strategies for business growth preferred
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking to devise solutions/approaches to solve delivery issues, leverage capabilities and contract vehicles, and/or generate new opportunities preferred
