Requirements
- Passion for HR Technology – Workday Expert in three modules minimum
- A strong problem-solver, who uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to get things done
- Experience in product management and creating features that make an impact
Responsibilities
- Owns the working backwards document and vision for Workday feature releases
- Identifies gaps and charters new capabilities as required
- Makes use of research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the software and business needs for product management
- Compares features for competitive review to inform prioritization within a platform product release and makes trade-offs
- Identifies innovations or performs test and learn experiments to create new feature opportunities
- Participates with the business in research and feedback to inform platform product and feature needs
- Contributes near-term input for product management roadmaps
- Uses metrics as a feedback loop in to the backlog priorities
- Dives deep into the work of you team and identify short-and-medium-term risks to platform product development and segment adoption, while proposing solutions to address them
- Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams
- Digests business customer requirements (user stories, use cases) and platform requirements for a platform feature set
- Has visibility into the design of the user experience using Workday Integrations
- Determines release goals for the platform and prioritizes assigned features according to business and platform value, adjusting throughout implementation as needed
- Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level
- Reviews product demo with the development team against acceptance criteria for the feature set
- Prepares launches and monitors platform performances, adoption, and operational health for feature sets
- Identifies issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and communicates to leadership
- Supports and participates in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the feature
- Oversees team-wide product operations, leads junior PM-Ts who may own individual components, and coordinates team-wide improvement goals
