Requirements
- Advanced Excel experience required
- Able to clearly articulate results, variances and demonstrate an understanding of root cause to management
- Ability to manage complexity well and demonstrated experience managing across functions and businesses to accomplish large scale goals in a large, public company environment
- Confidence, good judgment, energy and personality to work in a dynamic, multi-business unit environment across all levels of management and across business units and functions

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related area of study
- 1+ years of Cost Accounting and GL experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Oracle ERP experience, specifically using the manufacturing model is required
Responsibilities
- Standard cost roll up for Engineering Change Notifications (ECN’s) of new product introduced
- Reviews and analyzes the appropriateness and reasonableness of underlying accounting principles that support revenue recognition
- Annual physical inventory
- Work order review and closure
- Streamline systems and reporting tools to ensure efficient and accurate recording and proper classification of revenue
- Participates in systems upgrades and enhancements as necessary
- Participates in the month- and quarter- end close process and related responsibilities for the accounting department
- Prepares journal entries and maintains account reconciliations consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies to ensure close timelines are met
- Establishes controls necessary to ensure that revenue forecasts, deferred revenue balances and revenue accounting execution are compliant with SOX, company policy and GAAP
- Prepares and maintains reports / schedules for senior management, prepare schedules requested by internal customers
