Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 3-5 years’ experience in production scheduling, material expediting, customer service or warehousing OR BA/BS in Supply Chain or Logistics Management with 1-2 years’ experience in transportation management.
  • Knowledge of customer delivery processes preferred.
  • Expected to complete DOT hazardous materials training as part of on-boarding.
  • Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization & planning skills with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Keen sense of urgency to business needs.
  • Must be team-oriented, maintain confidentiality, and be able to handle diversified responsibilities, requests and projects simultaneously.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word; and experience in SAP preferred.
  • Experience in Data Analytics and creating reports

Responsibilities

  • Prepare delivery notes for outbound shipments from internal and external assets to ensure delivery in accordance with customer orders and expectations.
  • Works collaboratively with team of peers for adequate cross-training and coverage. Every member of this team is expected to be able to prepare delivery for every customer in the Dealer Network.
  • Works closely with Warehouse Replenishers to point delivery from appropriate inventory locations, as needed.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate transaction reporting in SAP.
  • Interface with counterparts at Third Party warehouses to ensure visibility to outbound delivery requirements, adequate delivery arrangements/special conditions and other customer needs.
  • Interface with counterparts in Operations, Supply Chain and others concerning problems with material movements, SAP transactions and documentation management.
  • Interface with colleagues in Customer Service in the event that prioritization of outbound deliveries is needed outside of typical strategy.
  • Assist with root cause investigation with shipping discrepancies or distribution incidents.
  • Participate in material/packaging complaint investigation and resolution as needed.
  • Interface with EHS on any incident or near miss in material handling or movement.
  • May participate in cycle counting, annual physical inventory activities, integration activities and other special projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of customer delivery processes preferred.
