Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant field (either product or energy)
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Experience managing complex projects and delivering results to customers
- Ability to distill complex ideas and translate them into terms relevant to disparate stakeholders, including engineers, designers, subject matter experts, and lay people
- Strong teamwork skills and work ethic
- Clear and succinct communication practices – verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain the product roadmap and backlog
- Define requirements and design solutions for new features with analysts and UI designers
- Integrate with the engineering team to support product development and feature delivery
- Conduct backlog grooming and prioritization with existing product management team
- Take ownership of complex projects and be able to perform independent communications and research
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in product management – 2+ years
- Familiarity with wholesale power markets, renewables development and trading
- Advanced optimization or forecast modeling capability, demonstrated either professionally or academically
- Experience with agile product development and associated tools
