Requirements
- Supervise, assist, and manage the operations and functions of the terminal
- Manage and oversee all dispatch and assist when necessary
- Oversee customer service and ensure driver payroll/settlements are submitted on time
- Monitor rates while dispatching to ensure contracted percentage payout is accurate with company standards
- Supervise office staff: handling employee problems and discipline
- Troubleshoot and handle driver problems and concerns
- Coordinating with steamship lines on rates, storage, and additional accessorial charges
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all dispatch and assist when necessary
- Oversee customer service and ensure driver payroll/settlements are submitted on time and manifests are in proper status to pay
- Monitor rates while dispatching to ensure contracted percentage payout is accurate with company standards
- Supervise office staff: handling employee problems and discipline
- Oversee and control per diem/demurrage charges at the port/rails
- Monitor LFD’s and cut-off times
- Maintain company owned equipment maintenance and invoice processing
- Communicate and work with all department heads or the persons that are designated
