Requirements
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and eager learner. Strong team player with a positive attitude
- 2+ years experience in one or more of the following: Battery storage solutions / Battery Management Systems, Power Electronics (Inverters, DCDCs, OBCs), Electric Machines (PMAC, Induction, SRM), Thermo Systems (Pumps and Fans)
- 2+ years experience onsite customer support
- Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally, sometimes with limited notice
- Commercially minded with a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
- A safety-first approach with respect to high voltage/high current systems and products
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage his/her own workload to achieve deadlines
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information, both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to handle customer confidential information
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a logical, methodical manner
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical, Electrical, or related engineering field
Responsibilities
- Engage with a range of customers from small to global enterprises via email, telephone, remote desktop or on-site
- Support the installation, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training of Turntide products at customer locations
- Assist with motor characterization using dynos at our facilities in Waterloo, Canada, the UK and on-site customer locations
- Generate and maintain Turntide documentation e.g. FAQs, Application Notes, Visit Reports, Product and User Manuals
- Partner with the Sales Team working with customers to understand their technical needs and drive that feedback into Turntide Product and Engineering groups.
- Develop deep application expertise to proactively identify and resolve customer challenges before they arise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Functional Safety e.g. ISO26262, ISO13849, IEC61508, D0178B
- Knowledge of EMC, Environmental, Product Safety and Electrical test standards e.g. ISO16750, ECE R10, R100
- Experience with on highway, off highway and/or non-road vehicle applications
- Experience presenting at industry events, customer events, STEM, etc.
- Direct sales experience
