Requirements
- Knowledge of regulations set forth by UNOS, OPTN, CMS, Joint Commission of Accreditation, NYS DOH
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage patient care effectively
- Experience in coordinating healthcare services
Responsibilities
- Manage patients that are active and active on hold on the transplantation list
- Attend transplant committees and participate in transplant clinics
- Schedule testing, labs, and procedures necessary for patient care
- Field phone calls from patients and MD offices to manage patient care
- Maintain and enforce regulations set forth by regulatory bodies
