Requirements
- Minimum 3 years working in the health and safety field in a manufacturing environment
- Experience and proven ability to provide technical training in material handling, LOTO, Confined Space
Responsibilities
- Manage claims and represent The Company in Health & Safety matters with external organizations such as the MOE, MOL and WSIB
- Audit assets and machinery to ensure compliance with company safety for employees, visitors, and contractor
- Read and coach leadership to ensure the fulfillment of the EHS Roles & Responsibilities according to the RASCI roles matrix. (Responsibility, Accountability, Support, Consulted, Informed – RASCI)
- Conduct job site safety inspections, including hazard analysis and safe work procedure reviews and environmental assessments
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree or college certificate related to Occupational Health and Safety
