Assistant Professor of Clinical – Radiation Oncology

Requirements

• Must be board eligible/certified
• Must have a license to practice medicine in the state of Florida (Florida Medical License or University Medical Faculty Certificate)
• Familiarity with department procedures and policies
• Active role in Quality Improvement activities

Responsibilities

• Engaged in clinical, research, teaching, and administrative activities
• Participate in department academic and educational activities, such as morning teaching conferences, morbidity and mortality conference, weekly new patient conference, and departmental and cancer center retreats
• Active participation in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
• Give at least one department grand rounds yearly and lecture the residents twice during the year
• Coordinate care with other services and relevant sites in the UHealth network
