Responsibilities

  • Technically accountable for the end-to-end delivery of key project(s) across Networks Business from initiation to close, ensuring that the project’s delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and with expected results
  • Contribute to the scope definition and delivery of business case in collaboration with other Businesses
  • Manage Project’s risks and impacts
  • Execute processes analysis, identify cross-organizational interdependencies, and obtain insights from external models and from developments in other Iberdrola’s companies
  • Take the lead on project challenges to deliver the expected outcomes
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces between ongoing projects
  • Plan, execute and monitor project’s overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate
  • Obtain, evaluate, and implement contributions to the projects
  • Work with the implementation teams on the transition to the ‘new’ business as usual position
  • Propose and implement interventions wherever gaps in the project are identified, or issues arise
  • Report progress of the project at regular intervals to the Vice President/Networks Transformation
  • Produce business plans for the project so they can be approved through Avangrid’s governance
  • Propose, implement, and follow up efficient initiatives
  • Contribute to the short, medium- and long-term strategies, proposing actions for the area aligned with the Company’s strategic planning and legislation, ensuring the maximization of results in the Company’s strategic value chain, enabling improvements in the quality of resources generated by the area and deepening the commercial and financial scope of the contracts signed
  • Participate and contribute to the implementation of the Digital Transformation of the organization
  • Encourage and promote improvements in technological innovation and processes
  • Create and distribute cost management reports to Networks Business Analysis
  • Quarterly forecast revisions and monthly reporting
  • Utilize knowledge to influence and guide department engineers
  • Provide technical leadership in complex projects that have a wide impact on the department
  • Mentor, develop and support team in technical skills
  • Ability to collaborate across departments
  • Liaison/ direct contractors on company policy, standards, and best practices
  • Work independently with little supervision
