Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience with Test Management (e.g., test methodologies, planning, execution, and reporting) in a data center environment or experience with hardware testing, process validation, or software testing.
- 5 years of experience with process or workflow definition and development in a data center environment.
- 5 years of experience leading projects or programs related to integration and maintenance processes.
Responsibilities
- Create technical requirements that span the journey of an L10/L11 system from the data center loading dock to installation to production to decommissioning, such that they can be thoroughly validated.
- Develop detailed, product tailored, and verifiable process workflows based on data center centric insights into product design, software tools and process workflows.
- Create, modify, or deprecate process workflows that reflect changes to the manner in which the product is designed to be transported, assembled, repaired, and decommissioned.
- Ensure on time delivery of process workflows while gathering critical data and documenting NPI life-cycle (installation, repair, decommissioning, etc).
- Communicate product risks uncovered by the verification tests to cross-functional team of engineers from Data center, Manufacturing and Product Design. Utilize established channels to communicate test updates, project trade-offs, technical recommendations, and escalations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of experience with process or workflow definition and development in a data center environment.
- Experience leading projects or programs related to system deployment, maintenance, or decommissioning.
- Strong understanding of the overall systems integration process.
- Understanding of the overall systems integration process, with the ability to put comprehensive workflows in place.
- Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and data driven decision making ability.
