Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing complex, cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
- Experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team
- 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- 5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) process and tools
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
- Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
- Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives
- Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements
- Ensures the assigned team is executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
- Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans
- Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management. Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Federal & DoD government services policies, guidance and regulations
- Experience in a business or engineering related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources, Engineering, Staffing)
