Responsibilities

• Drive and expand the distribution of Corporate Brands by filling all category voids and establishing a fair share of shelf for current and potential SKUs
• Gain authorization and distribution of new items in line with sell-in objectives and forecasted revenue goals
• Identify and act on major PCR growth opportunities
• Travel to store and complete routed individual visits to assist retailers in achieving and maintaining a business relationship with the company, including problem solving, negotiating, and developing programs while securing integrity and trust between the company and the retailer
• Provide regular Category Training to store contacts on new items, merchandising and departmental best practices
• Assist Grocery department managers, owners, and/or supervisors with product selection, training on new products and proper merchandising, retails to establish proper gross profits for their departments, assist writing ads using our ad program, and maintaining the product list with acceptable retails
• Sell special buy programs and the associated merchandising programs to stores

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of five to seven years of Wholesale or Perishable Retailing experience
