Requirements
- Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following: 1. Machine learning, with at least one paper published in NLP area 2. Privacy-enhanced technology for ranking systems 3. Familiar with ONNX Runtime and proficient in deploying models 4. Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Python, Hack 5. Experienced in Perl programming language and its various libraries and framework 6. Built large-scale infrastructure applications with Apache Spark, Flink, Hadoop, Storm, Kafka Streams for efficient data processing and stream integration 7. Created web applications using technologies such as React, Vue, Angular, and Node.js 8. Understands relational databases and has experience with MongoDB, Redis, SQL, and InfluxDB 9. Experience with WebAssembly (Wasm) and integrating it with JavaScript/Typescript, including creating and utilizing interfaces for efficient web application performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve privacy-preserving machine learning Ads ranking models to maximize data utility, improve model performance, increase Ads revenue while respecting user’s privacy and keeping compliant to privacy-related regulations and policies.
- Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for Ads ranking system.
- Develop a strong understanding of Ads-related product area, codebase, and/or systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
- Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
- Work on problems of privacy-preserving machine learning for Ads Ranking, where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors including privacy compliance.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.
