Requirements
- Associates in Nursing
- Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
Responsibilities
- Practices within the American Nurses Association (ANA) scope of practice
- Utilizes the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care
- Ensures that care is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient and their families
- Integrates patient and family input into the plan of care
- Develops personalized teaching strategies to support education, empowerment, and optimal health outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemotherapy Biotherapy – ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Radiation Oncology, Infusion Clinic and Medical Oncology (full time employees) within 2 years
- Chemotherapy Biotherapy – ONS #N/A Radiation Oncology, Infusion Clinic and Medical Oncology (full time employees) within 2 years
