Audio and Acoustic Engineer

8+ years of experience in acoustics design, mechano-acoustic simulations, prototyping, mechanical and electrical design, and signal processing
BS in Acoustic Engineering, Physics, or Electrical Engineering
Design, implementation, research and project leading skills
Experience in Matlab, and Lumped parameter acoustic simulation
Experience in Boundary Element Method (BEM) and Finite Element Method (FEM) numerical simulation such as COMSOL, SysNoise, Virtual Lab
Experience making informed decisions, proactively address challenges, adapt to changing circumstances, and take responsibility for resolving open issues
Experience with a variety of acoustic test equipment such as RME, Klippel, SoundCheck, Audio Precision, etc.

Spearhead research and design to advance precision sound reproduction
Develop next generation transducer technology for speakers and microphones
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and enhance transducer performance for next-generation audio devices
Develop advanced numerical simulation techniques to address complex challenges in acoustics, spatial audio, and signal processing, with applications in VR and AR
Advance the state of the art in acoustic transducers and acoustic systems
Conduct acoustic tests and establish related metrics
Characterize novel materials and devices, working closely with engineers to design and prototype audio devices
Validate prototypes through simulations and measurements, coordinating with external vendors for fabrication and manufacturing
