Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university
  • Responsibilities will require resourcefulness, organizational skills and the ability to coordinate activities across company functions.
  • Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
  • Basic knowledge of 2D or 3D mechanical or structural, OR electrical design requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
  • Proficiency with Mathematic or Data processing software

Responsibilities

  • Receive and digest introduction to basic helicopter operation and design, engineering department roles and activities, assigned project goals
  • Develop project schedule (phases / tasks list, milestones)
  • Create project execution report (content to be adjusted based on target audience)
  • Perform periodic reviews with direct supervisor
  • Brief project execution / lessons learnt to Department Manager upon project completion
  • Research technical information for feasibility / obsolescence evaluation
  • Perform maintenance, cataloging, or classification of existing technical data
  • Create CAD models from legacy data or creating new CAD data
  • Assist in prototyping activities, the functional definition / analysis of an intended design, the accomplishment of engineering airframe designs / analysis (and associated reports), repairs or modifications development programs requiring any type of mechanical or airframe analysis, detail design or testing (and associated reports), project execution performance analysis / improvement, data manipulation and analysis (and associated reports)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in 2D or 3D design of detail parts, electrical diagrams, functional diagrams, assemblies and/or installations.
  • Basic coding of data analysis or logical processing functions
