Executive – Plant Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Operation Management (Including prior Management / Supervisory experience in an operation / production environment; Experience applying Lean principles to drive improves cycles time, throughput and reduction)

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-7 salaried reports – consisting of Product Engineering Support, Materials Management, Quality Engineers,  Operations Management, Cost Management, & Facilities
• Manage an full scale overhaul facility in order to reach defined targets in Safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Prioritize a positive culture, employee engagement and a unified collaboration to drive ‘One Team, One Alliance’
• Deploy continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards, leveraging the lean tools and lean management systems
• Partner with business stakeholders on make/buy decisions and how to best support fulfillment of customer demand
• Own capital allocation strategy for the site and give input to business programs encompassing part of a the supporting function
• Ability to develop a clear long term site business strategy
• Develop and coach site leadership team to inspire, drive accountability and empower their teams

• Experience in long term strategy and planning
