Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government DoD Secret security clearance is required.
- Requires CompTIA Security+ CE – or equivalent certification and a supported Operating System Certification – within 6 months of hire date; Current certification is preferred.
- Experience managing VMWare technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, Horizon.
- Experience with Microsoft Group Policy fundamentals and Domain Controller concepts and operations.
- Prior experience deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data.
- Experience with network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc)
- Requires prior experience generating technical documentation and preparing / facilitating briefings as well as experience forging teaming relationships with all levels of internal / external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Working with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
- Administer and maintain systems support for software, hardware, and servers; identify, analyze, test, diagnose, and remediate technical challenges as you use systems administration and troubleshooting techniques to resolve a wide range technical problems to also include performing system imaging and helpdesk function, data backups, restores, system patching, antivirus definition updates and other DoD compliance related tasks.
- Responsibility for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows infrastructure (for both classified and unclassified programs).
- Manage NTFS and share permissions and Active Directory Object Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or SCI security clearance.
- System hardening in accordance with government regulations.
- Direct working experience with DFARS, DAAPM, JSIG environments.
- Bitlocker support experience.
- Experience with STIG and SCAP tools.
- Windows command line and related utilities.
- Automation via scripting (e.g. Powershell).
- Experience with the following Microsoft technologies: MECM, KMS, MDT, and WSUS.
- Exchange and Lync.
- Experience with Linux architecture, deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
