Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or a related STEM field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • 12+ years of experience in systems engineering within DoD/IC environments, including acquisition, requirements, or large-scale systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with hyperspectral imaging: integrating spectral data, supporting spectral exploitation tools, or architecting systems that process and analyze HSI.
  • In-depth understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and successfully pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams in integrating HSI and spectral data into advanced exploitation and analysis tools.
  • Drive requirements engineering, solution design, testing, and evaluation focused on hyperspectral data processing and application.
  • Guide the modernization of legacy systems and workflows by leveraging your HSI expertise to enhance accuracy, resiliency, and automation across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Provide technical leadership in Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), system architecture design, and trade studies involving HSI systems and capabilities.
  • Mentor and support mid- and junior-level engineers in HSI integration, spectral tool development, and full-lifecycle systems engineering practices.
  • Partner with NGA and mission stakeholders to translate complex mission needs into advanced GEOINT capabilities using HSI technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting NGA and/or mission partners.
  • Expertise in cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, hybrid environments) and how they can support spectral data processing.
  • Familiarity with GEOINT tradecraft and intelligence production workflows involving spectral imaging.
  • Experience aligning technical roadmaps with mission goals and federal acquisition processes.
