Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Training specific to mammography that meets MQSA requirements
- One year full time experience as a Radiologic technologist
- ARRT certified and registered (R) (M)
- IEMA Licensure
- Current CPR
- 8 hours of digital mammography CEU’s
- 8 Hours of 3D Tomosynthesis CEU’s/Training or requirement met within first month of hire date
Responsibilities
- Displays competent understanding of patient positioning and image critique
- Displays competent understanding and operation of equipment
- Delivery of patient care
- Responsible for ensuring PACS and EMR has the appropriate and complete studies
- Participates in professional development
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Mammography experience preferred. For PRN mammography experience required.
