Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or any bachelor’s degree with at least 1 years’ recent experience in logistics or 3 years’ experience in international logistics administration.
- Skilled and experienced with Microsoft Office tools (Specifically Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong verbal communication and cross functional coordination skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and extremely well organized.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to generate accurate documentation for international shipping.
- Ensure processing timeliness to avoid shipping delays.
- Monitor communications with internal and external partners to correct, revise, and retransmit updated documents.
- Strictly adhere to instructions for generating customs documents.
- Work with internal partners to capture all relevant shipping documents electronically to support potential future audits.
- Organize retained documents to easily retrieve in bulk.
- Identify and collect older documents for retention.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve document creation and accuracy.
- Suggest opportunities to improve and streamline communications among various stakeholders.
- Document best practices and improve existing work instructions.
- Support the Manager of Customs and Compliance with special projects and activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of international shipping preferred.
- Working knowledge of distribution center operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP or NetSuite is helpful.
