Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or any bachelor’s degree with at least 1 years’ recent experience in logistics or 3 years’ experience in international logistics administration.
  • Skilled and experienced with Microsoft Office tools (Specifically Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong verbal communication and cross functional coordination skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and extremely well organized.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to generate accurate documentation for international shipping.
  • Ensure processing timeliness to avoid shipping delays.
  • Monitor communications with internal and external partners to correct, revise, and retransmit updated documents.
  • Strictly adhere to instructions for generating customs documents.
  • Work with internal partners to capture all relevant shipping documents electronically to support potential future audits.
  • Organize retained documents to easily retrieve in bulk.
  • Identify and collect older documents for retention.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve document creation and accuracy.
  • Suggest opportunities to improve and streamline communications among various stakeholders.
  • Document best practices and improve existing work instructions.
  • Support the Manager of Customs and Compliance with special projects and activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of international shipping preferred.
  • Working knowledge of distribution center operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP or NetSuite is helpful.
