Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in ecommerce, or AI/ML-driven products
- Strong analytical approach; able to define and track success metrics using data
- Experience working with AI/ML technologies or data science teams is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering delightful seller experiences
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision and strategy for Shipping Cost Management, aligned with eBay’s broader shipping strategy
- Partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and fellow PMs to deliver AI-powered solutions that predict item/package characteristics and recommend shipping options
- Develop features that help sellers seamlessly adopt accurate shipping settings by automating weight/dimension entry and suggesting optimal carriers and costs
- Establish clear product metrics, set hypotheses, and run A/B experiments to measure impact on seller adoption, cost savings, and buyer conversion
- Collaborate with international teams to scale capabilities globally and ensure alignment with logistics partners and marketplace policies
- Communicate product vision, progress, and findings clearly to stakeholders and executives
