Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
- Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself.
Responsibilities
- Supports the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers.
- Ensures that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc.).
- Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments.
- Applies working knowledge of theories, practices, and/or procedures within job discipline.
- Broadens capabilities and understanding of the company processes, and customers.
- Performs mostly routine assignments and resolves common issues by using precedents or seeking guidance.
- Assesses straightforward problems and proposes solutions based on analysis of factual information, experience, judgment, and precedents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced skills in MS Excel – Preferred.
- Warehouse and logistics experience – Preferred.
- Freight forwarding experience – Preferred.
- International shipment processing – Preferred.
- E2K knowledge – Preferred.
