Accounts Payable Director

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounts payable, including management experience, is required.
A proven track record of successfully managing accounts payable operations and leading teams is required.
A strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively is required.

Manage and lead the accounts payable team, overseeing all daily accounts payable functions.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and optimize financial operations.
Utilize technology, including ERP systems and automation tools, to streamline accounts payable processes.
Provide training and support to team members.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure positive interactions.
Generate reports and analyze data to support financial reporting and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, including SOX compliance where applicable.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
