Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or developer tooling, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record overseeing large-scale cloud environments and physical data centers in complex enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), cloud-native operations, and hybrid networking.
  • Deep understanding of developer platforms, including source control (GitHub, GitLab, Perforce, ADO), artifact repositories, CI/CD frameworks, and observability stacks.
  • Strong grasp of DevOps principles, platform engineering, and automation practices.
  • Experience with compliance, risk management, and operational excellence frameworks (e.g., ITIL, SOC2, ISO).
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global infrastructure organization covering Cloud Operations, Cloud Management Platforms, Data Center Operations, and Enterprise Networking.
  • Drive operational excellence and service reliability across hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, and physical data centers).
  • Ensure high availability, performance monitoring, and incident response for mission-critical systems.
  • Champion automation, observability, and cost optimization across infrastructure services.
  • Oversee infrastructure governance, including patching, compliance, and asset lifecycle management.Including FedRAMP and IL5 Federal compliance understanding and infrastructure.
  • Manage the F5 AI internal GPT solution and enhancements to enable all business groups.
  • Lead the F5 on f5 initiatives with product development teams and enterprise systems.
  • Define and lead the strategy for a seamless Developer Experience (DevEx) across the enterprise.
  • Own and scale code repository management platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Perforce), ensuring performance, security, and ease of use.
  • Deliver and evolve DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and internal developer portals, enabling faster, safer, and more scalable software delivery.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to understand friction points in development workflows and resolve them with platform solutions.
  • Advocate for engineering standards and best practices across the developer ecosystem.
  • Build and lead high-performing global teams across infrastructure, cloud, and developer tooling.
  • Develop and manage multi-year roadmaps aligned to business growth, security, and operational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Security, Engineering, Compliance, and Product teams to align on architecture, SLAs, and enterprise tooling strategy.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to measure operational performance and developer productivity.
  • Drive vendor strategy and manage partner relationships for infrastructure platforms and developer tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global engineering organizations in high-growth, SaaS-based companies.
  • Familiarity with developer productivity measurement and platform SLOs.
  • Background in software engineering, platform operations, or technical architecture.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
