Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years experience in program administration or program coordination.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and other special health care needs, and/or lived experience with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Values the contributions of others in the workplace.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Autism Consortium of Texas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ACT LEND) schedule for all trainees and faculty.
- Perform all administrative duties and create management tools for the Autism Consortium of Texas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ACT LEND) program. Communicate with trainees, faculty and community partners about their roles and partnerships.
- Facilitate the Autism Consortium of Texas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ACT LEND) courses and seminars as needed.
- Support data coordinator on completing reports and collecting data from the for the Autism Consortium of Texas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ACT LEND) trainees.
- Coordinate with Texas Center for Disability Studies (TCDS) on all social media and graphic design for the Autism Consortium of Texas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ACT LEND).
- Schedule professional development activities for the Autism Consortium of Texas Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ACT LEND). This includes the launching and coordination of a new Echo Autism program.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in program administration or program coordination.
- Experience mentoring students or trainees.
- Experience with community engagement and relationship building.
