Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
- or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a closely related field plus five years’ experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience must also include at least 6 months in each of the following: CFD and FEA; C, C++, C#, Python; Robotic system design and programming; Machine design; PLC and HMI programming; Controls design; Machine vision system design; Thermoplastic process development and R&D; Thermoplastic Composite part design; Electrical design and development (high and low voltage system); Electrical control cabinet wiring; Software development for in-house machines and cells controls; and Scientific computation.
Responsibilities
- Lead research and development projects to enhance manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
- Gather requirements, analyze problems, and propose viable engineering solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative automation solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Lead design, development, and implementation of computer control systems and algorithms for electromechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems.
