Requirements
- Two or more years years of similar or related experience.
- A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience in PC usage and hardware/software support.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, PC Imaging Software, Helpdesk ticketing system.
- Current windows OS experience a plus.
- Ability to diagnose problems over a WAN in remote locations.
- Must be able to install, troubleshoot, and support personal computers, Windows, network and data communications software and hardware.
- Proficient in Antivirus, diagnosing faulty hardware and software, software installation locally and remotely.
- Must be familiar with Office Productivity Suite and able to work trouble tickets.
Responsibilities
- Installs, supports, and manages software and hardware devices (including inventory management/tracking and licensing). Responds to and develops solutions for component failures and complex technical problems in all of these areas to deliver a sound and stable computing infrastructure.
- Consults with Information Systems management and other personnel to assure that IS standards for control, security and data recoverability are understood and followed; coordinates with other IS staff to assure that appropriate IS computing standards are implemented and maintained; manages software upgrades to assure compliance with standards and control procedures.
- Participates in team and individual projects including new location setups.
- Provides Tier II Helpdesk support to LMCU personnel.
- Collaborates with IS Network systems staff to support the following computing components PC/LAN workstations, WAN communications links, printers, telephony equipment, and peripheral devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
