Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with preference for Thin Films Process and Tool expertise
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fundamentals, device fabrication and process control
  • Experience with data analysis to drive process improvements and optimization
  • Leadership experience to manage and direct a team effectively
  • Ability to work on-site in a cleanroom manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of process engineers and technicians in a high volume, semiconductor manufacturing environment
  • Consistently demonstrate proactive communication to establish clear direction and alignment on priorities and metrics
  • Work with your direct reports to develop and improve individual and team performance through mentoring, coaching and performance assessments
  • Lead structured problem-solving efforts in response to equipment signals, process shifts and/or discrepant material events
  • Drive continuous improvements in production yield and quality through robust quality systems
  • Proactively partner with production operations to improve overall operational efficiency and cycle time
  • Establish a safe and healthy work environment by maintaining and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal requirements and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the Thin Film’s modules is a plus but is not required
