Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1 year of customer service experience
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative coverage at the front desk of the HIV and STD Clinic
- Monitor the clinic appointment line to include scheduling appointments for clients from outside medical, hospital, correction systems
- Answer multiline telephones
- Take payments from clients for clinical services
- Complete client registration and documentation
- Schedule interpreters for clients
- Retrieve billing charges
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred
- Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred
