Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Three years related nursing experience
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth transition of patients into the MUSC system
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans
- Coordinate the daily needs of the nursing and technology teams
- Serve as the primary patient advocate
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary care team
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA) (for some positions)
