Requirements
- Proficiency in financial management and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate financial management, with at least three years of supervisory experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (i.e., knowledge of contract management, costing, pricing, and inventory management)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Coordinate the annual budget preparation process, working with the President, Department Heads, Board Treasurer, and Finance Committee
- Monitor and report on Clovernook’s fiscal strength and financial performance against budget, including trend analysis and budget variance studies
- Direct the annual audit, coordinating with staff and external auditors to ensure a thorough, accurate audit
- Manage cash flow, keeping the President and Treasurer informed of cash flow status and recommending corrective actions if necessary
- Propose policies and procedures for the establishment and maintenance of inventory levels for raw materials, supplies, material-in-process, and finished goods
- Report to the Board Treasurer and Finance Committee on all financial matters
