Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field
• At least two (2) years of experience in accounting and/or internal audit
• Strong organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software, including Power BI, Diligent, SharePoint
• Ability to work independently as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, maintaining professional skepticism; intellectually curious
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of SAP
• Data analytics experience (Audit Command Language/ACL), or the ability to structure query language
• The desire to acquire Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation
• US Citizenship required
• Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity

Responsibilities

• Support both Finance and IT Audits, as well as associated audit analytics
• Follow-up on Open Control Deficiencies
• Coordination of meetings with external audit & stakeholders
• Manage Internal Audit workpaper submission to external audit
• Support UAR (User Access Recertification)
• Accounts receivable transactions
• Accounts payable transactions
• Outside Service Provider Testing (OSP)
• Inventory Audits
• IT process walk-throughs and collection of data
• IT General Controls (ITGC) transactional testing (change management, access management, authentication management, and operations management)

Preferred Qualifications

• The desire to acquire Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation
