Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive experience in digital development, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior technical role.
  • Deep theoretical and practical understanding of core digital power concepts including ADC/DAC, computer architecture, digital design and simulation, system Verilog and real number modeling, and digital synthesis.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing real-time digital power algorithms on various platforms including FPGAs
  • Knowledge of advanced process nodes including 40nm, 22nm and below.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB for digital power development and prototyping.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver complex technical projects from concept to production.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for all digital power related initiatives, aligning with overall product and company objectives.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Lead architectural design and technical specifications for digital power systems, ensuring scalability, robustness, and optimal performance.
  • Architect advanced digital power controllers, creating balance between performance, cost and flexibility.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, layout engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of digital power technologies into our products.
  • Create a working model to ensure GUIs and customer targeted tools allow for the rapid and easy adoption of our digital power products into customer products.
  • Create a method for rapid-prototyping and derisking by utilizing advanced digital emulation methods such as using FPGAs in the early phases of a project.
