Requirements
- Investment Banking Knowledge – Experience with financial modeling and analysis with significant exposure to finance and accounting.
- Analytical Skills – Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Knowledge of the financial markets, the industry, the analysis and reporting of financial data, and associated terminology.
- Time Management – Highly-motivated and energetic while managing one’s time, and effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines to ensure the timely completion of all items.
- Personal Characteristics – Demonstrates professionalism, superior attention to detail, integrity, maturity, intellectual curiosity, initiative and good judgment; takes pride of ownership for wins and accountability for losses/mistakes with the ability to work in teams.
- Communications Skills – Excellent conceptualization, presentation and communication skills to effectively execute change.
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
- Minimum Required: 1-2 years in Investment Banking
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Responsibilities
- Conduct industry research.
- Build financial models to analyze company projections or potential transactions.
- Draft offering memorandums for public or private financings.
- Prepare client presentation materials.
- Work with clients to execute financing or merger transactions.
- Some travel by car and/or air in conjunction with local, regional and/or national travel, up to 10%.
