Responsibilities
- Builds All Outbound Customer Shipments.
- Plans All Shipments via Methods for Handling That Maintain Cost and Provide Exemplary Service.
- Maintain Daily Excel Worksheets to Help Warehouse Prioritize Shipping Needs.
- Communicates To Warehouse Supervisors the Customer Requirements.
- Responds To Customer Service Requests for Special Shipping Instructions.
- Correspond with Customers and Establish Shipping Perimeters.
- Monitor and execute the tendering strategy to carriers, prioritize order consolidation, monitor on-time deliveries, assist carriers in resolving issues and communicate with appropriate parties.
- Analyze existing shipping processes for improvements and provide support for multiple implementation plans and warehousing activities relating to outbound shipping of goods to our customers.
