Requirements
- Master’s degree in higher education, educational leadership, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of experience in successfully leading large-scale initiatives is required with extensive SACSCOC accreditation and higher education experience strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership in managing teams and budgets.
- Strong background in outcomes assessment and institutional effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, execution and continuous improvement of the QEP in alignment with Liberty University’s strategic priorities and SACSCOC Core Requirement 7.2.
- Develop and communicate the overall vision of the QEP, ensuring broad engagement across the institution.
- Serve as the university’s primary representative for all QEP-related matters and act as a liaison to stakeholders.
- Supervise the Associate Director and Project Support Coordinator, providing guidance on all QEP activities and ensuring collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Work closely with academic and administrative leaders to integrate the QEP into university operations and academic programs.
- Oversee the QEP budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources.
- Ensure that all aspects of the QEP meet SACSCOC accreditation standards and requirements.
- Lead the preparation of reports and documentation for reaffirmation of accreditation and ongoing compliance.
- Oversee the development and implementation of assessment tools to measure the impact of the QEP on student learning.
- Use data to inform decisions and make recommendations for improving the QEP and achieving institutional effectiveness.
- Advocate for the QEP by presenting its goals, progress, and results to internal and external audiences.
- Lead internal communication efforts to keep faculty, staff, and students informed and engaged with QEP initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in higher education, educational leadership, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive SACSCOC accreditation and higher education experience strongly preferred.
