Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience as a Capital Market business analyst with exposure to Product Control/Financial Reporting
- Experienced in data mapping
- Ability to analyze business functions, workflows, inputs and outputs
- Business Requirements Document and Functional Requirements document writing skills/experience, flow diagrams
- Hands-on experience working with SQL databases (i.e. queries, data analysis), REST APIs and event mechanisms
- Familiarity with Project Management tools such as JIRA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with competing demands
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and release management processes
- Working knowledge of TDS technology platforms, including trade booking source systems and downstream reporting systems is a plus
- Experienced stakeholder management through both formal and informal means
Responsibilities
- Provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical / functional specifications in alignment with standards and frameworks
- Work in close partnership with business partners / technology / project teams and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications
- Develop effective and efficient solutions by researching/analyzing current state system capabilities and defining technology solutions options / recommendations working closely with key technology partners
- Ability to write and execute test plans in DEV and PAT and carry out all necessary tasks required to implement any system change
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team
- Manage Incremental Change
- Manage BAU change to PNL and Attribution reporting system
- Scope, size, and manage data quality implementation efforts
- Testing and ensuring quality of the developed solution: that it meets the business functional requirements and is production-ready
- Independently investigate and resolve client support issues
- Resolve any complex issues that cannot be resolved by first-line support
- Supporting various legacy system retirements
- Training new/existing clients and implementation teams on software
- Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of TDS technology platforms, including trade booking source systems and downstream reporting systems is a plus
