Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, Oracle Cloud Certification) is a plus
  • 7-10 years experience in finance operations, internal controls, and system implementations (preferably Oracle Cloud Fusion)
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including US GAAP, and its application within Oracle Cloud Fusion
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report)
  • Experience with internal control frameworks and compliance standards
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to non-accounting colleagues
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current financial workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to streamline operations
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to gather business requirements and map current vs. future state processes
  • Evaluate and enhance, or in some cases develop, internal control frameworks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented controls and recommend enhancements as needed
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to support the selection, implementation, and integration of financial systems
  • Assist with requirements gathering, UAT, data migration, and training during system rollouts
  • Act as a liaison between end-users and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and provide continuous support
  • Support finance-related projects by tracking milestones, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables
  • Prepare business cases, impact assessments, and risk analysis for proposed changes

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, Oracle Cloud Certification) is a plus
