Assistant Facility Security Manager

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of related Security experience.
• Hiring manager will accept, in lieu of degree, commensurate years of relevant work experience. Typically includes 4 years relevant work experience and an additional 8 years of professional experience.
• National Industrial Security Program experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of a complex classified facility that requires working knowledge of a Security Education Program and Briefings, Badging / Visitor Control, Office Administration and Document Control.
• Administer the company programs for handling and safeguarding classified and proprietary information.
• Investigate security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences.
• Closely work with other security cores. Including Physical, Cyber, Security Business Partners and Special Programs where needed.
• Assist in collaboration with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems.
• Provide guidance, subject matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Uncompromising ethics and integrity.
• History of strong collaboration both vertically and horizontally in a professional organization.
• Experience with other Security disciplines to include Physical, Technical, Counterintelligence, Cybersecurity and Personnel Security.
• Work experience interacting / working with Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency and/or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel as well as varying levels of senior leadership.
• FSO Certification for a classified possessing facility.
• Active and in-scope Top Secret US clearance.
