Requirements

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in payments, financial services, or fintech industries, with a focus on alternative payment methods.
  • Proven track record of leadership in developing and managing payment solutions.
  • Strong understanding of global payment ecosystems, technologies, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Alternative Payments Module, encompassing global, regional, and local PSP partnerships to enable local payment methods at merchant checkout.
  • Lead the design, launch, and continuous enhancement of alternative payment and payout products, leveraging Visa Acceptance Platform automation capabilities, Visa currency cloud settlement, reconciliation reporting, and payout capabilities to provide a full-stack solution.
  • Implement a robust go-to-market strategy that supports product teams within the VAS portfolio. Collaborate with regional solutions and sales teams to analyze, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities. Develop a comprehensive toolkit of resources, training materials, and sales enablement tools to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with payment processors, financial institutions, and technology providers. Negotiate and manage contracts to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the operations of the Alternative Payments and Payouts services, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with global standards and regulations. Implement best practices to enhance service performance and user experience.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive team success.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends. Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive product development and market positioning.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for alternative payment initiatives. Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Ensure all payment and payout services comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Implement robust risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets and customer data.
