Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in rock climbing, including belaying.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- First Aid training.
- Strong desire to work in Fitness industry.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Ability to speak conversational English is required.
- Must be available and able to work at both sites Equinox E61st (330 E 61st) and Sports Club NY (160 Columbus Ave, 67st)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the rockwall areas; ensure that all equipment is used safely.
- Assist members with climbing gear, instruction, and belaying.
- Maintain a clean rockwall area.
- Examine rockwall equipment prior to use; store properly at the end of shift.
- Enforce all member and employee policies, rules and regulations.
- Adhere to safety practices and policies.
- Respond to members’ concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
- Offer the highest level of member and employee service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
